IWF Tech Officer wins TechWomen50 award

The Internet Watch Foundation's (IWF's) tech officer Harriet Lester has been named in the TechWomen50 2017 awards list.

The award honours women in the tech industry and recognises the impact of female champions and IT leaders.

The awards, being the first of their kind, were entered by 500 individuals and judged by a panel of 20 independent judges.

“I’m thrilled to have been honoured with this award”, says Harriet. “As a young woman in tech I know how important it is to promote successful females and help them be part of the next generation of females in IT. Huge thanks to WeAreTechWomen for providing this platform.”

Harriet joined the IWF in 2014. She was instrumental in a number of remarkable projects including the development of the IWF Hash List and the implementation of Reporting Portals in the Caribbean.
