Lauterbach opens its doors to ARM Cortex developers

Lauterbach and ARM are to host an 'Expert Day' on Tuesday 7th June to present the latest debug and trace technologies for ARM Cortex-A/-R.

Debug tool expert, Lauterbach has announced that it will be running a special 'Expert Day' relating to the debugging and tracing of code for the ARM Cortex-A/-R microprocessor on 7th June, at its office in Germany.

Covering such topics as multi-core debugging, debugging Linux and Windows 10 applications and ARM TrustZone and Hypervisor Debugging, senior engineers from ARM and Lauterbach will be sharing their in-depth knowledge and expertise in this field. The 'Expert Day' is free to attend and presenters will be speaking in English.

"In many ways, this is a really important opportunity for ARM developers," said Barry Lock, UK Manager of Lauterbach. "Product reliability and product security is a major challenge for developers. The cost of product recalls and damage to the brand can be considerable; it can be a big responsibility, being a developer these days. This will be a valuable chance for engineers to develop their knowledge of debugging and to explore the very latest debug tools and technologies.”

ARM developers can find more information and can register their place online at http://www.lauterbach.com/frames.html?home.html

Lauterbach debug tools have become a favourite with many hi-tech engineers, and the company is recognised for both engineering excellence and exceptional technical support. Lauterbach tools support all the major families of microprocessor cores, covering products from 75 silicon companies. The quality and capability of Lauterbach tools enable engineering teams to develop robust code whilst minimising development time lost to debugging.

Lauterbach will also be hosting a free workshop at the 2016 UK Device Developers' Conference. Entitled “How to Optimise ARM Cortex-M Code and Build Better Embedded Systems”, this two-hour presentation will explain all the Cortex-M debug Coresight bits and show how they can be used to debug and analyse an embedded system.
