Monumo comes out of stealth to pitch at Deeptech Labs Demo Day

Cambridge UK: Monumo, the company reinventing electric motors, was delighted to emerge out of stealth mode and share its progress to over 300 investors at the Deeptech Labs Autumn 2023 Demo Day.

Monumo

The pitch, delivered by Monumo’s CEO, Dominic Vergine, officially launched the company’s mission to create the world’s best electric motors, starting with a focus on electric vehicles (EVs). In less than 2 years, the company has created one of the first deeptech multiphysics engines capable of simulating and optimising entire motor systems as a single design.

Electric motors already consume over half of the world’s electricity and this percentage continues to rise. Electric motors are at the heart of clean energy and clean transport, and will play a key role in the decarbonisation of economies.

Dominic Vergine commented, “It remains critical that electric motors are as good as the laws of physics allow, if we are to help the world to a sustainable future. Monumo has a valuable role to play in this journey and I was delighted to receive such a positive reception from so many key investors in this space.”

Deeptech Labs invests in post-Seed deeptech companies with an established technology, an extraordinary team, and strong initial traction.
