This competition, a highlight in the school calendar, is a chance for every primary school student to design the MPs Christmas card and bring festive cheer to countless constituents.

The winner of the contest is featured on the front and two runners-up share the back.  This year the winner was Martha Nitch-Smith of St Philips C of E Primary School.

With many festive cards to choose from it is a contest that fills everyone with cheer and joy.

Daniel Zeichner MP said: ‘I always love seeing my office full of festive cards from our young minds. From Christmas trees and candy canes, to snowmen and stockings, to baubles and bells everyone is happy to get in on the festivities and produce beautiful art to ensure everyone feels festive.

I am delighted to congratulate Martha for her win and her great design.  I hope that all participants will join next year’s contest and produce their best work. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and hope 2023 will be the best possible year for all.”
