Filming at Cambridge's new Ice Arena, capturing a live band perform in a studio setting, and interviewing people at a family-friendly festival have been three highlights from Cambridge TV Training's filming days this term.
Once edited, these items will be broadcast on TV and online. As well as giving media coverage to people and events, tuition days teach new skills and allow participants to grow their catalogue of work as their name is listed in the credits.
Getting involved is easy - Cambridge TV Training's website has links to book a place or make an enquiry! The one term course is designed for those who want to work in the industry and who need hands-on experience to do so, with tuition designed around practical training days on mostly Mondays and Tuesday, with the rest of the week to practise skills or to hold down a job. The Saturday course runs for eight Saturdays and is suitable for beginners upwards.
