Stone King holds free Cambridge event for organisations that sponsor overseas workers

Cambridge law firm Stone King is holding an information session at its offices for organisations that are looking to recruit from overseas.

As the impact of Brexit and the pandemic become clearer, many organisations are registering as sponsor licence holders so they can sponsor overseas workers. Julie Moktadir, partner and Head of Immigration at Stone King, is hosting a session to discuss compliance as a sponsor licence holder and the issues that many organisations face.

Julie says: “As more organisations register to become sponsor licence holders they need to be aware of what this involves and what they need to do to stay compliant. This session will give them a good overview, but it is an interactive session so there will also be plenty of opportunities for asking questions.”

Topics covered will include complying with your sponsorship duties, UKVI visits, Right to Work checks, risks associated with non-compliance, and keeping your Sponsor Management System up to date.

The free Sponsorship Licence Compliance session is taking place on 10 March between 12.30 and 13.30 and will be hosted at Stone King’s offices, on the third floor of Bateman House, 82-88 Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1LQ. Lunch will be provided for all attendees. If you would like to register to attend or find out more, please email events@stoneking.co.uk

The firm is also running a number of webinars on specific immigration topics, more information is available at https://www.stoneking.co.uk/events
