Taylor Wessing advises Unruly
Taylor Wessing's Corporate Technology team advises Tech City icon Unruly on its sale to News Corp, in a deal worth up to £114m.
Unruly joins Wahanda, Prozone and Alertme among many others who have recently been advised by Taylor Wessing through significant liquidity events.
Unruly is a video adtech company and is the leading programmatic platform for social video advertising. Founding members Matt Cooke, Sarah Wood and Scott Button started the company back in 2006, in a shared office in Brick Lane. Unruly now has 200 staff across 15 offices and count giants such as Dove, Evian and Renault among its clients.
Mike Turner, who led the TW transaction team for Unruly, said: "We are proud to be at the forefront of the UK tech scene. Scott, Sarah and Matt are exemplars of all that is good about the London tech market, and we are grateful to have been part of their journey through growth to liquidity".
