Wentworth Laboratories completes major refurbishment

As part of a strategic expansion programme, Wentworth Laboratories Ltd has just completed a substantial make-over of its head office building in Sandy, UK, to create capacity for its growing workforce.

Having been based in this Bedfordshire location since 1979, the company has upgraded the building with a fresh new look, improved staff facilities and enhanced working areas. The project included a full overhaul of the premises to create new functional office spaces, additional meeting rooms, staff break out areas and parking spaces.

Jeremy Hope, General Manager at Wentworth Laboratories, commented: "The refurbishment has increased the capacity of our premises to support our continued growth. This, together with the additional new members of staff we have taken on this year, provides a long-term solution to ensure that we are in a strong position to facilitate product innovation and maintain the high production and quality standards our customers have come to expect.”

Having strengthened the areas of customer service, design, software development, production as well as sales and marketing in a recent recruitment drive, the company is gearing up to respond to the increased demand in its specialist wafer probing solutions.

Jeremy added: "Investing in new systems and improving our office and production facilities is part of our continued commitment to provide the best possible products and services for even the most challenging cutting-edge applications, including photonics, compound semiconductors, opto-electronics, power, flexible circuits and RF.”
