'Would like to meet' service goes live

Whether you're looking for - or able to offer - expertise, funding, equipment, office or lab space, or something else, Cambridge Network's new 'Who would you like to meet?' service, now live on this website, will help you connect with others to solve your problems.

Hilary Laing, Cambridge Network's COO, explains: "We are piloting a new service through this website, called ‘Who would you like to meet?' – which is now live and located under the member directory. It aims to bring together people who are looking for something with people who have something to offer, for mutual benefit."

Members are invited to email the details of requests and offers to enquiry@cambridgenetwork.co.uk . Says Hilary:"We will then act as the go-between, facilitating contact and enabling individuals to negotiate directly – it is not our intention to manage such communication beyond the initial introductions.

“This is not a free-for-all to enable people to advertise their services, but rather a genuine attempt to help people make connections with those they might not otherwise encounter. There are a few simple rules, and the process is straightforward; we will provide reference codes for both requests and offers for you to quote when you are responding, and we will do our utmost to make sure the connections are made.”

Please send your requests or offers for posting, or your responses to the items currently listed, to enquiry@cambridgenetwork.co.uk .
