Cambridge Building Society named Regional Lending Provider of the Year

The Cambridge Building Society was named ‘Regional Lending Provider of the Year’ for the second year in a row at the annual Moneyfacts Awards on Tuesday 2nd June.

Cambridge Building Society writes:

This accolade is a huge achievement as the highly coveted awards are one of the highlights of the personal finance industry calendar.

The Moneyfacts awards are totally independent and recognise product excellence and outstanding service from across a wide range of national financial services providers.

A team from The Cambridge attended the glittering awards ceremony held in the Pavilion at the Tower of London.

Chief Operating Officer Andy Lucas said: “We were thrilled to receive this award last year so to actually win again is a tremendous achievement and one everyone at The Cambridge should be proud of.

“We have a dedicated, knowledgeable team here who are passionate about providing our customers with great service. This award is testament to their hard work and enthusiasm.

“We’ve set the bar high and will be pushing to maintain our winning streak in 2016.”

The Cambridge was also nominated in the Best Service from a Mortgage Provider category but lost out to Halifax.

Sylvia Waycot, Publishing Director of Moneyfacts, said: “The winners and finalists at this year's Moneyfacts Awards can be rightly proud of their achievements, which are based on providing products that best meet the needs of their customers.

“The Moneyfacts Awards showcase providers that continue to demonstrate a firm commitment to quality and choice across a wide range of products, at a time when the sector's success and growth has never been more important.”

The Cambridge is also nominated in the Best Regional Building Society category in the What Mortgage Awards. The voting is open to the public.
