Cambridge Music Festival attracts international artists – tickets now on sale

The full programme for Cambridge Music Festival (CMF) is announced today and tickets are now on sale. Artists from the USA, Hungary and Italy feature alongside the UK’s best classical talent in a series of world-class events from Monday 9 – Thursday 19 November.

 

"CMF is all about bringing the world's best performers to Cambridge, celebrating the radical and the familiar," says Festival Director Justin Lee.

"The virtuosity and stage presence of internationally-renowned artists like violinist Joshua Bell (pictured) and pianist Sir András Schiff have to been seen to be believed. Then there are top orchestras such as the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and the BBC Concert Orchestra, and large-scale choral concerts, not to mention electronica and education work. There’s huge variety and every event promises to be a real treat."
