Cambridge accountants raise over £22K for children's charity

Cambridge-based accountants PEM (where PEM Corporate Finance LLP is a sister company) presented a cheque to The Sick Children’s Trust for £22,369.27 following a year of fundraising.

 

Patsy Glazebrook and Trevor Mawby of The Sick Children’s Trust received the cheque from Managing Partner at PEM, Warren Tilbury, at the firm’s annual Garden Party.

The Sick Children’s Trust was nominated by staff at PEM & PEMCF as the chosen Charity of the Year for 2015/16. During the year, PEM held a series of fundraising events including a sporting challenge where 37 members of staff took on the Three Peaks Challenge.

The Sick Children’s Trust provide home from home accommodation, as well as emotional and practical support to families with sick children in hospital. The money raised will specifically support Acorn and Chestnut House at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Warren Tilbury, Managing Partner at PEM said, “We have really enjoyed supporting The Sick Children’s Trust this past year as it offers such a vital service to families in the region. The whole team at PEM has been fully involved in our fundraising events and to raise such a huge sum is an amazing achievement.”
