Join Dragonlight Films at its screening of Good in the Machine, the third in a series of short documentary films made by the Faraday Institute for Religion and Science, ARM, the Centre for the Future of Intelligence and Little Dragon Films.

To attend the event on the evening of 18th July, register for free tickets at the link below.

The evening will involve a screening of the film, a panel discussion with leading experts in AI and ethics including Dr Stephen Cave (executive director, the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence), Charlotte Stix (Research Associate on the AI Policy and Responsible Innovation project, CFI) and Christopher Markou (AI and the Law PhD), and a drinks reception.

The third installment of the rise machines series tells the story of the current AI revolution and the impact such powerful applications are having on society. It tackles the intricate challenge of how we develop thinking machines to behave ethically and try to imbue them with our shared human values.

The film features insights from top thinkers in the field – Nick Bostrom, Sandra Wachter, Zoubin Ghahramani, and many others. Good in the Machine is aimed at a tech-savvy general public who care about what happens to society as we question human identity in an age of nearly human machines.
