Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership

Are you investing in your leaders to ensure that they are future-fit? This CMI qualification is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. It can be completed as a professional qualification or as an apprenticeship. 

The qualification structure has been designed to support Learners to select combinations of units to address own development needs and interests. The units developed for each theme will also enable organisations to tailor the CMI Certificate/Diploma to address specific organisational development needs.

Course Structure

The CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership professional qualification can be delivered in your organisation by the Marshall Centre either with face-to-face workshops or as remote virtual sessions. Both delivery methods include learning materials, engaging videos, pathway workbooks and access to Management Direct. Management Direct is a complete online library of comprehensive and up-to-date material that addresses current management practice, supports studying and those looking to develop their skills.

It is delivered virtually at present, you’ll attend 8 days training around 6-8 weeks apart. There are written assignment to complete for each module, which will be assessed against learning outcomes. The qualification will take approx. 12-18 months to complete.

  • Learners must complete any combination of units to a minimum of 370 TUT hours, 37 credits to achieve this qualification

Who is it for?

These qualifications are aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy. The qualifications have been designed for practising or aspiring managers in roles such as Regional Manager, Departmental Manager, Divisional Manager, Operations Manager and Specialist Manager.
