To meet the UK government’s target of becoming Carbon Zero by 2050, a large number of the 27 million existing homes will need retrofitting. To boost this race against a set target, we need to decarbonise home heating. Currently, around 85% of UK homes are using gas central heating. But the UK Government has to meet its 2050 legal Net Carbon Zero, and we all need to follow the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Air source heat pumps will only form part of the solution. Other new innovations will need to emerge. This webinar focuses on three possible new solutions:
