The course will cover how to build effective search strategies using classification, citation, name, semantic and other search tools, and how to filter and analyse your results for the following types of portfolio search:
- pre-filing
- patentability / prior art
- top up prior to filing decision making
- validity
- opposition
- invalidity
It will also cover setting up patent watches & company and technology alerts.
The course is suitable for Intellectual Property managers, as well as those working in R&D, technology transfer, strategic business development and competitive intelligence roles. Attendees will be limited in number, so there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and consider specific topics in more detail.The course will be delivered as two one & a half hour sessions on two consecutive days (3 hours in total).
