Administrator - 12 month FTC

We design scalable, energy efficient-processors and related technologies to deliver the intelligence in applications ranging from sensors to servers, including smartphones, tablets, enterprise infrastructure and the Internet of Things.

Reporting to the Director of Research Ecosystem within the Architecture and Technology Group (ATG), you will take ownership of monitoring and tracking Arm’s global portfolio of academic relationships. You will establish working relationships with Legal, Finance and Procurement teams within Arm to ensure that supporting agreements are processed and updated in a timely fashion.


You will also engage with external partners such as academic institutions, funding agencies and other suppliers, in order to progress and support the overall work of the team.


Job Overview:

We are seeking an Administrator to support the work of the Research Ecosystem team. You will be responsible for all aspects of tracking and reporting on the team’s external engagements, and will work with Operations and Support functions across Arm, and externally, to deliver on this.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and track Arm’s academic collaborations and relationships, and provide regular reports and updates to a range of internal audiences
- Ensure all related legal and financial agreements are in place and up to date
- Connect with Operations teams in university partners and funding agencies to support overall relationships
- Interact with Arm Finance to ensure clarity of planned spend
- Provide general administrative support for ATG as the need arises, as part of the Group Operations team

Required Skills and Experience:

- Experience of project tracking and monitoring
- Capable of balancing multiple projects and/or activities concurrently
- Organised and methodical – able to keep track of, progress and report on a disparate set of actions
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to decide on the most appropriate path forward with minimum supervision
- Ability to adjust communication style to a range of different audiences

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

- Experience with project tracking software, such as Jira and/or Confluence
- Experience of working with or in the University sector in an administrative capacity
- Writing ‘how to’ guides for simple processes, and providing support to non-expert users
- Experience with standard office tools – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
