Exciting Opportunity: Category Manager – Digital Printing  

Location: Hybrid - Remote & On-Site at Cambridge or Liverpool + Supplier Visits

This role offers a unique blend of strategic foresight and operational agility within the global scope of Domino’s Group Purchasing Team, focusing on the Digital Print category. 

Your Mission: Transform our procurement processes and supplier relations to achieve unparalleled value in delivery, cost, quality, and service. You will be pivotal in developing Category Strategies, optimizing the supply base, and navigating through the intricacies of contractual relationships and risk management. Your efforts will directly contribute to Domino’s evolution, aligning our purchasing practices with the business's strategic vision and ever-changing landscape. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to craft and refine Category Strategies for Digital Print. 

  • Foster robust relationships with suppliers and internal customers, ensuring alignment with Domino’s values and goals. 

  • Identify and onboard new, capable suppliers, auditing their potential to enhance our supply base. 

  • Drive profitability through strategic cost management, inventory optimization, and risk mitigation. 

  • Negotiate and manage comprehensive supplier contracts, ensuring they meet our stringent CSR standards. 

  • Spearhead initiatives to streamline purchasing processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and data integrity. 

About You: 

You’re an experienced category buyer/manager with a zest for strategic sourcing in a technologically advanced, fast-paced environment. Your commercial acumen is matched by a deep technical understanding and a proactive approach to stakeholder management.

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing procurement strategies for technical manufacturing components. 

  • Solution oriented able to identify potential or existing issues early and provide creative results 

  • A rich background in purchasing technical products and services, with keen category insight. 

  • Strong project management skills, characterized by a well-organized and hands-on approach. 

  • A customer-centric mindset, adept at leading complex cross-functional teams to drive organizational benefits. 

  • Independent, self-motivated, and exceptionally organized, with a knack for initiating action and achieving results. 

  • Proficient in finance and budgeting, with sharp analytical skills to decipher the full spectrum of purchasing value. 

  • Experience adhering to Compliance, Procurement, and Legal best practices. 

  • CIPS qualification (or working towards one) is highly desirable. 

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Oracle, is advantageous.
