Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team with a focus on manufacturing excellence, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and dynamic team environment, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet production targets and improve operational processes.
  • Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Champion initiatives that support our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with H&S rules and procedures.

Qualification, Skills & Experience

  • While a technical degree is valuable, a background in business, management, and leadership (ILM, CMI) or similar, will be particularly beneficial for this role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is important but not essential.
  • Capability in overseeing projects, including planning, executing, and managing resources, with a focus on leading teams to achieve project goals.
  • Experience or training in managing change within teams or projects, demonstrating the ability to guide teams through transitions or organizational changes.
