The Faculty of History seeks a Deputy Faculty Manager, specialising in postgraduate education. This role is based within the University's Unified Administrative Service and assigned to the Faculty of History, sitting within the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The role holder will be responsible for the administrative processes underpinning the Faculty of History's postgraduate taught and research programmes.

This is a pivotal and varied role, which will provide leadership and guidance in matters of policy, strategy, change and planning. The role holder will contribute to the development of the Faculty of History, support key committees, and line manage a team of professional services staff dedicated to postgraduate student administration and school's liaison work.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload. The successful candidate will also have the ability to implement change, understand, interpret, manage, and design administrative processes, together with previous experience in a senior administrative role is required. The ability to work as part of a team, providing clear leadership, plus excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are also essential attributes for this role.
