We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager, Strategic Insights to be part of Arm Finance and its Business Planning team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, the role partners closely with the Automotive Line of Business (LoB) to develop market models, perform scenario analyses, and maintain revenue plans.

As Arm Finance, our mission is to enable Arm revenue and profitability growth, short term to long term, in support of Arm’s strategy. Within Arm Finance we have built the Business Planning team, a team tasked with predictably maximising Arm revenue, short-term to long-term.
Job Overview:
Partnering closely with the Automotive LoB team, you will develop insights that enable Arm and its vast global ecosystem of technology partners to unleash the potential of Automotive.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Automotive Royalty revenue forecasts. You will collaborate and deepen relationships with the LoB, sharing ownership on inputs critical to the forecast.
Analyse historical patterns, contractual elements as well as third-party insights to continually test fidelity and accuracy of revenue projections.
Responsibilities:
- Own and develop royalty data forecasting models, ensuring they are fit for forecasting and long-term planning, utilising data management tools where appropriate.
- Perform in-depth analysis for partner's royalty trends. This involves a deep understanding of contractual rates and different scenarios of royalty calculations.
- Improve data quality by ensuring accuracy at a granular level. This includes adding market segmentation, contract rates, price tier information and product configurations by researching and collaborating with both internal and external teams.
- Prepare management and executive level reporting packages and conduct analysis for senior management and other partners, communicating key insights, recommendations and calls to action. Establish process and methodology to consistently test probability of possible range of revenue outcomes.
- Partner cross functionally to provide proactive, high-quality and highly responsive finance support to the business.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong commercial awareness, garnering knowledge from internal and external sources to apply to complex models.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Track record of providing insight from complex data sets, problem solving skills, self-reliance, and the passion to drive issues through to a positive conclusion.
- Advanced Excel and data management experience (Power query, SQL, Alteryx etc).
- Education background in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Mathematics, although other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of semiconductor industry and related technologies.
- Experience in Royalties and/or IP licensing.
- Experience in working globally, establishing relationships and solving problems with teams working in different time zones.
- Experience with market research data.
- Knowledge of the Automotive industry
