Staff Developer Relations Manager

We’re looking for a Developer Relations Manager, based in our Cambridge office, that can engage with partners and colleagues alike with empathy and curiosity. A person that can build success with their team through their engagements with developers and sharing insights within Arm that enlightens our thinking.†

Job Overview:

Success means engagement with globally known developers, helping them with tough problems in their productions today, working with their "here and now". The team works alongside experts across Arm to do this.

We study industry trends and listen to the developers we serve, in turn sharing findings with our colleagues at Arm. The team performs near-term applied research, publishing technical articles and making conference presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the activities and growth of the team
  • Prioritisation of tasks aligned with team objectives
  • Maintain excellent relations with developers
  • Schedule and align on meeting agendas and ensure accurate notes are kept
  • Timely communications with partners, setting clear expectations
  • Work across specialities and teams (e.g., engineering, marketing and legal) to deliver results
  • Maintain and share knowledge of partners and industry trends
  • Preparation and presentation of conference materials, other publications and senior management
  • Proactive in finding new relationships and opportunities through networking at events
  • Management of both quarterly project plans, alongside resolving day to day support requests
  • Assemble monthly and biannual reports relating to tactical engagement and collected insights, respectively.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Relationship management, ideally both internal and external
  • A track record of leadership in a technology field
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of the video games industry, especially the western market
  • Mentoring team members on a one to one level

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Game development, ideally mobile game development
  • Familiarity with NDAs and ability to parse redline in agreements
