Assertiveness workshop will help you gain more control

Do you ever wish you could gain more control in situations that are important to you? Find out what assertiveness really means - and how to be more assertive when you need to be - at a workshop next month from Cambridge Network's Learning Collaboration.

Assertiveness is not always about getting your own way, but it is about being able to confidently express your own needs.

The Assertiveness Skills Workshop on Tuesday November 21st, kindly hosted by Barclays Eagle Labs  (7-8 Clifton Court, Cherry Hinton Road, CB1 7BN), will help you if you want to resist saying yes when you really want to say no, or to say what you really think without upsetting someone. What is more, it will earn you valuable CPD points.

By the end of the one-day workshop you will:

  •     Understand what assertive behaviour is
  •     Be more aware of ‘difficult’ people and situations, and know how to respond to them
  •     Understand and know how to use assertive communication
  •     Know when and how to be assertive.

CPD Points: 6.5
