Cervical Cancer Prevention Week

Cervical Cancer Prevention Week

Corazon Health Limited writes...

To mark Cervical Cancer Prevention Week, we are supporting Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust in its campaign to move towards a future where cervical cancer is a thing of the past. Regular cervical screening, which only takes a few minutes, can help prevent cervical cancer by checking for a virus called high-risk HPV and cervical cell changes. Cervical screening is a free health test available on the NHS, but the latest data from Public Health England revealed that nearly 1 in 3 women and people with a cervix do not take up their screening invite. It's time to change that. We encourage all people even if they’ve had the HPV vaccine to attend their cervical screening when they are invited to do so. This could help save someone's life.

Head to our website to get 'Cervical Cancer' booklet that has some useful information on risk factors, symptoms, screening and treatment of cervical cancer. And don't forget to share it with your family, friends and colleagues to help us raise awareness and promote cervical screening!
