Tuesday 7th March - From small to medium
09:30AM - 11:30AM
Hauser Forum, The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, CB3 0GT

Do you ever find yourself saying 'I make all the decisions and I wish others would use some initiative', or 'We are always fire-fighting because there is so much demand - we never seem to pause and reflect on where we are going or what our purpose is'?

If this sounds like you, or perhaps you want to prevent members of your team from feeling this way, then this session  - with independent organisation consultant and executive coach Janice Steed - will include some enlightening tips and food for thought on how to build strong relationship management skills for your workplace.

In this interactive session you will learn how using emotional intelligence in your business, developing distributed leadership mechanisms and making some small changes can help you be more effective as you grow and realise your collective potential.

Thursday 30th March -  Success: what lies behind the mask?
08:00AM - 10:00AM
Hauser Forum, The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, CB3 0GT

Do you or your staff experience a nagging doubt that they/you could be ‘found out’ or put their/your success down to luck or timing? Have you noticed a need to be perfect and avoid making mistakes because it ‘proves’ they/you are not up to the job? And how do you handle over-confidence, without dampening enthusiasm?

Imposter Syndrome is a phenomenon where you are unable to accept success as deserved and fear being exposed as a fraud in your career. Award winning speaker Kate Atkin, a learning and development specialist, explains more about how the feeling of being an imposter at work can affect individuals and how it can be overcome.
