Guardtech Group taking gold standard service to the next level

THE GUARDTECH GROUP are expanding their Service Department to meet the needs of a fast-growing new customer base.

A new year restructure saw Guardtech Cleanrooms repositioned to sit alongside new acquisition Cleanroom Solutions and existing businesses Isopod (rapid cleanrooms) and CleanCube (mobile solutions), while Isoblok Pre-Fab Cleanrooms was also added to the mix.

These five firms now operate as distinct businesses under the Guardtech Group umbrella, with Guardtech Cleanrooms focussing on modular builds and Cleanroom Solutions undertaking turnkey construction services.

This ambitious new set-up has also led to the expansion of Guardtech’s Service Department, headed up by Guardtech Director Ray Wheeler.

Service Manager Chris McGinn has been joined by Service Engineer Kyle Lyons, while the Guardtech Group Decontamination Team is also further strengthened.

Among a string of exciting recent developments, Mr Wheeler and his team have expanded a Service contract with a major UK motorsport team, worked on relocating extraction units at a major university and agreed a contract to replace filters at a university in Scotland.

This is alongside a number of landmark Decontamination Team contracts, including an NHS compound cleaning contract and a monthly deep clean for a biotech firm in the South East, and Mr Wheeler praised his team for being prepared to meet the needs of a diverse and wide-reaching clientele.

Mr Wheeler said “I’m delighted with our newly expanded set-up,” he said. “We’re in a great place now, as the Guardtech Group, to deliver a truly gold standard UK-wide solution to meet a complex schedule of service and maintenance needs for some amazing companies carrying out lots of innovative and interesting operations.

“I'd urge any businesses with cleanrooms that require either ongoing maintenance, high-performance cleans – or both – to get in touch immediately, as Guardtech could be just what you need to take away the hassle of keeping your controlled environment operating at the level you expect.”

The Guardtech Group Service Department are renowned for taking care of all their clients’ controlled environment service and maintenance needs.

From commissioning new-build cleanrooms to service, maintenance, testing and validation of existing critical environments, the newly expanded Guardtech Group Service Department support ongoing compliance in all cGMP & ISO14644 classified cleanrooms.

Standard Service Agreements are three or five-year contracts, with two visits per year from Guardtech engineers, but the team are geared up to discuss the specific needs of clients, delivering a bespoke and tailored service to ensure they receive the appropriate level of support.

The range of services is diverse – from standard validations, filter integrity testing, HVAC servicing and maintenance to monitoring system maintenance and gauge calibration.

But the scope for support goes far beyond this – whether it’s central vacuum system inspections you require, rapid roller door servicing, process air handling unit filter testing or laminar flow and biosafety cabinet validation, right through to crane servicing, fall protection systems or transfer hatch servicing, Guardtech do it all – and do it well.

Mr Wheeler added: “All of the work we carry out is followed by detailed reporting – in line with ISO14644-1:2015 standards and cGMP guidelines.

“We take great pride in ensuring our client facilities are audit-ready and compliant with the requirements of the regulatory bodies. It’s a gold standard service and we work hard to deliver the best possible results for our clients.”
