Hot, hot, hot at cofinitive!

After a busy Spring, things have just carried on being hot, hot, hot at cofinitive this summer.

The agency writes:

Having taken on a new project with returning client, LSCC, we got stuck right in with developing the UKIC Skills Condordat that launched at the UK Innovation Corridor APPG in London on 13th May.

We are super excited to be sponsoring the Cambridge Independent SciTech awards again, with our #OnetoWatch award. We can’t wait to see the exciting companies who are shortlisted this year, you still have time to apply, applications close at the end of July!

As part of Founder Faye Holland’s role as Chair of the Technology Advisory Group in Cambridge Ahead, she also led a business workshop in the future of tech for our businesses. AI and Robotics played a huge role in the discussion, but what was key to most Cambridge businesses was the need to better leverage technology within their business.

We were really happy to be able to sponsor the CWIC 2019 Conference and to have an exhibition stand at the event, we caught up with lots of familiar faces, as well as bringing our successful Comms Clinic (follow the link to book a slot in a future clinic) along, which meant we got to spend some time helping people with their communications challenges too.

Impact Women’s Network had not one but three successful events dealing with three big topics: how to make your first £1million sale, an event exploring how we can make an impact on the 1.5° future and our first event focusing on food (follow the link to watch the video).

And in client news

The annual LSCC Conference in June saw two out of three of our all party parliamentary group topics discussed – the Skills Concordat (mentioned above) and The UK Innovation Corridor Local Industrial Strategy Prospectus. Our client Emma Fletcher from SmithsonHill was also on the panel speaking about transport infrastructure.

We are really excited that EIT Food MAKEIt has chosen us as their communications partner – this exciting project is kicking off soon, so watch this space for the official announcement.

We are also excited to be doing further work with Crayfish.io, after working with them on their strategy last year.

Luminous Ventures continues to get great coverage and speaking placements, with Max appearing on BBC1, and at Noah19 Investors conference – interviewing Michael Gunadi of Hadean, one of Luminous Ventures’ portfolio companies. Meanwhile, Izzy spoke to a full house at Women of Silicon Roundabout.

If you have any burning comms challenges, or need to shake things up, do get in touch with us today.
