Plant a tree at Wandlebury

Cambridge Past, Present & Future writes...Do you want to plant a tree to mark a special occasion or milestone in your company's history and achievements? We need 3 new native trees at Wandlebury and need 3 special people or organisations to dedicate them.

Plant a tree for nature, climate and beauty at Wandlebury Country Park.

Local charity Cambridge Past Present & Future is expanding Wandlebury Country Park and transforming farmland into a beautiful mix of meadows and woodland. It is part of our efforts to increase nature, adapt to the impacts of climate change and support people's health and well-being.

As part of this exciting project we want to plant 3 new native trees as a small copse. The trees will be beech, lime and sweet chestnut and they will be protected from grazing animals with a substantial wooden tree guard.

We are asking donors to dedicate these special new trees. There is a minimum suggested donation of £2,500 for each dedicated tree which goes towards the cost of the tree and tree guard, a stainless steel plaque with a 4 line inscription, delivery, careful planting and the care and maintenance of the tree for at least five years. It is also a donation towards our charitable work to protect the beauty of Cambridge and its environment. Donors will be invited to help plant the tree.

Please email development@cambridgeppf.org to find out more and to make an appointment to view the location.
