    Cambridge airport presents an alternative Christmas card

    Cambridge Airport presented an alternative Christmas card this year. Instead of distributing the usual client cards, the airport chose to donate a cheque for £200 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) unit which is based at the airport.

    Cambridge Airport is home to new flight simulator

    Marshall of Cambridge is delighted to welcome Virtual Aviation, a new tenant, to Cambridge Airport, located in new purpose-built premises on the Newmarket Road. Virtual Aviation is operating its new multi-million pound Boeing 737 Next Generation Flight Simulator, being used to train airline pilots, and this is the first professional flight simulator to be based in the region.

    Mark Wright, star of ITV’s The Only Way is Essex and I’m a Celebrity, took to the skies in Cambridge last week after winning a flying lesson at a charity auction. Accompanying him in the plane was Gemma Manchett from Burwell, who won her place on the flight after Mark auctioned off the passenger seat.
