Mental Health First Aid November 2019

This course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. Mental Health First Aiders are people who can identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. Just as a physical first aider helps with injuries but isn’t a medical professional, you’ll be equipped to make a difference right now and signpost people to the support they need longer term.

You’ll learn about the most common mental health conditions and cover practical skills to help you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Your trainer, like all CPSL Mind’s trainers, will be a highly qualified and experienced specialist with a professional background relevant to the course.

The course is certified by Mental Health First Aid England. It will take place on Wednesdays 13th & 20th November, 10am-4:30pm at Orchard Community Centre, Cambridge CB4 2EZ. When you have completed the course you will receive a reference manual to take home and a certificate. Places are £200 per delegate including course materials: book online at https://www.cpslmind.org.uk/event/mhfa-standard-2-day-course-12/
