ARU’s research institutes and four faculties bridge scientific, technical and creative fields.  We deliver impactful research which tackles pressing issues and makes a real difference to our communities.  Our academic excellence has been recognised by the UK’s Higher Education funding bodies, with 16 of our research areas assessed as world leading. We are the largest provider of Nursing, Midwifery, Health and Social Care students in the East of England, and we are also among the UK’s leading universities for degree apprenticeship provision, working with hundreds of employers across the UK.

About the Role:

This role is key to successfully delivering timely, high quality and meaningful learning and development activities, and will work across all our faculties and professional service areas to make sure that what we are delivering meets both business and staff needs. This will include accurate record keeping for mandatory training (e.g., Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education, GDPR, etc) and support to provide regular reports to a range of internal and external (e.g. Ofsted) committees. We have recently acquired a Further Education (FE) college and this role will be key in ensuring our statutory safeguarding requirements are met through training and reporting, as well as ensuring the same within our wider ARU (HE) community.

With lots of experience in helping to co-ordinate large programmes of work, data input and reporting, this role will play a key part in ensuring we can clearly demonstrate return on investment by providing high quality, accurate records and working closely with other team members to incorporate data and intelligence into different reporting dashboards. This role will have lots of opportunity to inform and get involved in our existing and future Learning and Development offers and will provide important signposting and advice to all of our stakeholders.

We are a team of high achievers, and we want everybody that joins us to feel supported and enabled to reach their full potential. As with all of our team, you’ll have brilliant interpersonal skills, a ‘can do’ approach, be an excellent team player and be absolutely committed to providing responsive, excellent customer service.

If this role sound like you, we’d love to hear from you.
