About the role:

Sitting within our Organisational Development (OD) Team, this role plays a key part in leading a range of L&D activities and managing the modernisation of the L&D function - this is a really exciting time to join us as we look at what we’ve been providing, understand our return on investment and look at what and how we take forward our L&D offer in the future. This role will work across all our faculties and professional service areas and be a key lead across a number of programmes of work, as well as be responsible for our Learning & Development Team.

 

With relevant knowledge, skills and experiences as described in the person specification, some of your responsibilities include leading and facilitating action learning sets, team exercise and mediation sessions; delivering expert coaching and mentoring sessions; leading, reviewing and continuously improving our performance management systems (e.g. PCDR/appraisal) ensuring high levels of engagement and completion; overseeing the development, promotion, organisation and delivery of corporate activities such as induction and management briefings, continually reviewing and enhancing our onboarding activities.

 

You’ll have the ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative, organise and prioritise a very busy workload, have a good understanding and experience of the theories and techniques involved in creating, delivering and implementing learning and development interventions that meet business and people needs AND how to evaluate, test and monitor impact to assess return on investment. You’ll have brilliant interpersonal skills, a ‘can do’ approach and be absolutely committed to providing responsive, excellent customer service.
