Connections Through Covid - 2

This year has been like no other in Cambridge, with coronavirus disrupting so much of our lives and demanding response, action, and change.

Some problems appear more urgent. Things we take for granted seem more fragile. And many of us don’t want life to return to quite what it was. We want a more courageous, more sustainable, more equitable world.

Connections Through COVID is a series of conversations designed to help us help each other thrive in these challenging times.

Conversation 2. Reconnecting for Resilience, with Sheila McDerment

To be resilient, we need to feel connected. This link between feeling connected & mental health & wellbeing is well-established.  However, for many of us our connections have been challenged by lockdown & virtual working, & the feeling of disconnection is strong.

This session will explore the concept of resilience, help you to recognise when resilience goes & learn how we can nourish our resilience by reconnecting with our core purpose, our support networks, our emotions, our environment & ourselves.

This session will provide a gentle opportunity to discuss & build our resilience by reconnecting, sharing experiences, learning from each other & finding a way forward together.
