About the Role:

We’re seeking to recruit a high calibre practitioner to work in the School of Computing and Information Science (CIS) based at our Cambridge campus. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and teach topics in the area of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. The position will also require a contribution to the School’s scholarly and consulting activities.

 

The areas of specialism to be covered include but are not limited to Cyber Security, Secure Systems, Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics, Cloud and Internet of Things. Sound knowledge of both the underpinning theory and practical skills needed in the agreed areas is expected.

 

You will have a degree or relevant professional qualification and current professional/industry qualifications and experience in teaching and learning in higher education and or a higher degree. You’ll have a track record of applied practice and networking in the field with a commitment to CPD. Professional qualifications as a Cyber Security and Digital Forensics specialist are required for this position. Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to work co-operatively and as part of a team are also required.
